This is one of our favorite places to eat. The buckwheat cakes are amazing. I just wish they were open later in the evenings.
Great little place to step back in time and enjoy breakfast
Definitely a nice way to revisit your childhood lunch counter memories. Dont be in a hurry. After all, if your not a local, you are on vacation. The western omelet is delicious. They dont skimp on the bacon. Seeing a child spin around on the counter stools brought back memories of doing the same thing. If it wasnt for my big stomach keeping me from doing a full 360, I may have given it a go.
Every diner wishes they could be as good as this one thank you to all the waitresses and cooks their Food is excellent waitresses are kind courteous and happy to serve you
Extremely unique!
Many memories of Englanders. You can't ever go wrong with the go to cheeseburger and french fries!
Good food and antiques available. Sometimes criwded.
Great spot for a classic diner meal. Saw locals and visitors alike.
Always fun
Home style food. Fun place to look for antiques.
lots and lots of very nice things. Hap's the original dinette counter up and running in the back. Be sure you're spending at least $10 if you want to use a credit card
Great food!
A nice family restaurant with friendly staff. The food is spectacular, and made to order. Smiles all around, and prices are reasonable. I'm a regular.
They are good pepole in the store to help u at any given time
This IS a local gem run by Dottie. This place doesn't seem like much but has the Best food. All food is fresh daily. If you ever wanted to try buckwheat cakes you won't find better. Homemade vegetable soup daily and fresh made hamburgers. All this in an antique store with a old fashioned breakfast and lunch. Be warned that they close at 3:00 pm.
Super friendly and the best coffee and buckwheat cakes in Oakland.
Step Back in Time ,,, Great Food ,,, Friendly People & so are the Workers,,, various things to buy & observe... Antiques also...---> WAYNES DOMAIN
A fantastic Antiques Mall with a GREAT OLD FASHIONED DINER IN THE BACK
Been going here for years! Love the vibe and the amazing food!!
Nice store that has everything in it. Some items though are way to broken to be sold. But I guess for some people that’s the point of places like this. Recommend
Great old drug store lunch counter. Homemade milkshakes.
Love this place. All kinds of antiques tucked into each and every little corner and a fantastic old style soda fountain in the back with great food.
Quaint diner in the back of an antique store. Pretty decent shakes. Fair prices. Not much variety in the antique store though.
Fun place to browse
Love this place its like u go back in time with the eat in diner. Good food!!!
Love this store! It houses multiple consignment shops & a terrific old fashioned diner.
Great food & nice people. Had Pizza burger and my husband had the hamburger. Delicious. Setting takes you back. Ice cream soda was like the one's we remembered.
A huge collection of antiques and more. Loved the home-style food available in the restaurant, and the prices for the meals were unbeatable.
Nice selection, good prices, all i need to purchase boos at the lake, party on!
Always go here when visiting our family home. I go every morning for coffee and breakfast. Their food is way underpriced for the quality and the great service. Has a Mayberry cafe type feel that is much appreciated in today's chain restaurant dominate food industry.
Staying at Deep Creek Lake, we stopped by here after a wonderful hike in a local state park. The antiques are fun, but the diner/old timey luncheon counter is the best reason to stop by. Nothing fancy just basic well prepared diner food, with really affordable prices. I loved the Club sandwich added the tater tots. The tots were perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Wife enjoyed a perfect BLT. Staff are helpful and kind.
We loved our breakfast here. Good prices and the western omelette was great!
Cute place with thousands of trinkets to look at and admire. Found a book that over 100 years old and in great condition! Definitely worth checking out.
I've been here twice. It's fun if a little claustrophobic and occasionally you get the kind of anti-tourist vibe usually reserved for New England, but there's tons of cool stuff to look at. Although I've never eaten there the diner is always packed with locals, so there's something popular about the food and or service.
Love going there while on vacationIt is like a blast from the past, sit down Diner at Dotties. They have great Milkshakes too!
Always wonderful. Friendly, affordable, great lunch specials
Its a hidden jem, food was amazing and our waitress gave good advice
Nice place to eat and shop
Always have loved this place! Friendly atmosphere! Good to see familiar faces behind the counter!!
Great food in diner
Average antigue shop. Walked around didn't see anything exceptional.
Excellent cafe. Milkshakes are great.
Store is comprised of multiple vending booths, so you need spend time to go through each booth to find unique finds.
Interesting antique shop with a small food area in the back. I did think it was odd that they advertise the food area as "Dottie's Fountain Grill" but the soda fountain is the same as what you would find in a place such as Subway. With that being said, they were willing to add some grenadine to a Sprite for us (Shirley Temple) but so are a lot of other places. The old soda fountain is clearly visible but no longer operational.
Great place to eat.
Good food, old fashioned diner in back of antique store. Excellant staff! Many yesteryear memories in the antiques. Nostalgia in its finest!
Nice place to wonder around in and found some wonderful things to bring home. Stop in to eat and shop!
Cool store and an awesome diner, definitely a must for local and travelers alike
Love this place!
I ordered 2 eggs which in the menu description says "comes with buttered toast" i did not recieved toast and my eggs came kinda rubbery also my buckwheat cakes were thicker than pancakes overall not the best joint...
